Self Catering Edinburgh
Canon
Court is located in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh
city centre. It is easily reached on foot, by bus or
taxi. Edinburgh Airport is approximately 8 miles from
the city centre with regular connections by bus, shuttle
and taxi. The main station and bus station are located
in the heart of the city centre and are close to local
bus routes to Canon Court.

By car
Canon Court is easily accessible by car. Our car park
entrance is located at the rear of the apartments on
Warriston Road, just off Canonmills. (map). Turn first
right after turning onto Warriston Road.
By bus
Lothian Buses (www.lothianbuses.com)
run regular services to Canonmills. Numbers 8, 23,
27 and 36 stop near the apartments. Night buses number
8 and 27 are also available. Most single journeys are
£1.30 and for £3.20 you can travel anywhere
within in the city for the full day.
The airport bus from Edinburgh Airport stops just outside
Waverley Station (see below). The main bus station for
links to cities all over the UK is also within easy
reach.
By train
Waverley Station has intercity links with cities all
over the United Kingdom. It is regularly served by taxis
and the bus stops mentioned above are just a few minutes
walk from the platforms.
By air
If you arrive by air, there is a choice of transport.
There is a regular airport bus run by Lothian Transport
(see information under buses above) £3.50 for
a single journey.
