TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- Information
Much of the accommodation information provided on our web site and by our reservation centre is supplied by each apartment. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that all information provided online, by telephone and facsimile is accurate, hot-el-apartments cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions it may inadvertently contain.
- Availability
Confirmations are made by hot-el-apartments.com on the basis of availability information supplied by apartments. In the l-unlikely event that hot-el-apartments is advised that a apartment is not available after hot-el-apartments.com has issued a confirmation to a guest, hot-el-apartments.com reserves the right to cancel the reservation with a full refund to the guest. Under such circumstances hot-el-apartments.com’s liability is limited to the payment received for the accommodation booked via hot-el-apartments.com and now being cancelled. This liability does not extend to travel commitments or other costs. In such an event we would naturally do all we can to offer alternative but equivalent accommodation.
- Extending Your Stay
Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates, and are subject to a possible rate change.
- Preauthorisation
Upon arrival hot-el-apartments.com reserves the right to request preauthorisation of the guest credit or debit card as security against any damage and incidentals.
- Damage Liability
It is expected that the apartments are left in a clean and tidy order. You are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during your stay which has occurred due to negligence or omission. Any damage must be reported to us without delay. Any lost property will be held for 14 days and if it is not claimed it will be donated to a local charity. You will be held responsible for the keys to the apartment at £100 per set if lost or damaged. Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge guests who cause disturbance to other guests and tenants.
- Payments & Confirmations
In order to confirm your reservation hot-el-apartments.com requires a 30% deposit of the total value of the booking, the balance of which is due on arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until you receive a hot-el-apartments.com reservation number. Hot-el-apartments.com accepts no liability for people who arrive at the apartment accommodation before receipt of this reservation number.
- Cancellations and alterations
If you need to cancel or change your accommodation and provide hot-el-apartments.com with 28 days notice. All cancellations need to be received by hot-el-apartment.com in writing either by e-mail or fax and will only be effective on the date of written receipt. Hot-el-apartment.com advises guests to obtain personal travel insurance covering their accommodation.
The following fees will be applied to the total value of the reservation for any cancellations received within 28 days of the arrival date:
28 Days = 10% Cancellation Fee
14 Days = 25% Cancellation Fee
7 Days = 50% Cancellation Fee
48 Hours = 75% Cancellation Fee
Refunds are credited to the card/method used for payment. Alteration fee – all alterations will incur a £10.00 Admin fee.
- Accepted forms of payment
All major debit/credit cards, American Express and bank transfers. Please note that a reservation remains a provisional one until the deposit/full payment has been received.
- Occupants
Only persons notified to us prior to arrival may occupy the apartment. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded.
- Complaints
Hot-el-apartment.com has made every reasonable effort to ensure the freshness, quality and value of your accommodation. In the event of a complaint, guests may contact hot-el-apartment.com during their stay at the apartment and we will do our utmost to assist you. However, ultimately we cannot accept liability for guest dissatisfaction with a apartment. Hot-el-apartments.com cannot assist guests who first submit complaints after departing the hotel accommodation.
LIABILITY
Unless negligence by the Company is established by an
independent body, the Company will not be held liable
for injury to person, loss of, or damage to any property
of any Client or person staying/visiting the apartments
and or its general facilities and area. Vehicles are
parked in the car park at the risk of the guest.
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
All apartments are fully furnished to a high standard
and include a kitchen fully equipped with appliances,
cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, linen and towels.
No food is provided. A welcome pack of tea, coffee,
milk and sugar with sufficient washing up liquid is
provided on arrival. No items may be removed from the
apartment.
Apartments are cleaned once a week.
The prices quoted include heating, electricity, gas,
water, council taxes, television/cable license and telephone
line rental charges. The price does not include phone
calls or service charges for phone calls made.
OCCUPANTS
Only persons notified to us prior to your arrival may
occupy the apartment. You may not re-let/sublet the
apartment to any other third party without our prior
written approval. The number of persons permitted to
occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds
available and this limit may not be exceeded without
our prior written approval. We reserve the right to
refuse admittance to the apartment if this condition
is not complied with.
PETS
No pets, of any kind, are allowed in the apartments
at any time with the exception of guide dogs.
DAMAGE LIABILITY
We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to
your goods or personal belongings kept at the accommodation.
You are also responsible for taking all reasonable care
of the apartment and its contents. The apartment and
all equipment, utensils, furniture etc. must be left
clean and tidy at the end of your stay. A charge will
be levied for any items missing or damaged.
Except in the case of normal wear and tear you are responsible
for any damage to the apartment or its contents during
your stay which has occurred due to the negligence,
wilful default or irresponsible behaviour on the part
of yourself or those occupying the apartment or their
guests. Any damage must be reported to us by you, without
delay.
You will ensure that nothing is done which may jeopardise
our insurance policy or any part of it in respect of
the apartment and its contents.
We strongly advise you to ensure you have insurance
in place to cover your personal belongings, money etc.
ACCESS
We, or our authorised
personnel, may at any time access the apartment for
the purpose of inspection of the apartment, and to carry
out repair or maintenance work. Wherever possible, we
will advise you in advance of any such access required.
GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
A number of our apartments offer modified facilities
for guests with impaired mobility. Others, whilst not
having special facilities, have mainly level access
to entrances and lifts. Guests with impaired mobility
or other particular requirements should contact us in
advance that their requirements can be met.
FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS
We pride ourselves on the high standard of our service
and our facilities. Your feedback is important to us.
Please take a few minutes to let us know what you think
by filling in the feedback from provided in your apartment.
Please return the form to reception in the envelope
provided.
We will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your
chosen accommodation is properly arranged and is of
a reasonable standard. We will of course, endeavour
to rectify any problems immediately. Please contact
Reception to notify the General Manager of your complaint.
Complaints cannot be rectified after your departure.
If we are found to be in breach of these terms and conditions,
we will at our option either provide you with a replacement
apartment (if reasonably practicable) or refund to you
the price paid by you to us. We will ask you to fill
in our complaints form.
